I am a practicing public artist, arts educator, and curriculum designer with 17 years of experience in arts educationacross K–12 schools, museums, artist residencies, and community settings. My work bridges professional art practice and education, bringing contemporary art, cultural relevance, and real-world creative practice into learning environments.

My approach centers culturally responsive teaching, inquiry, project-based learning, and connections between art, identity, community, and place. I bring extensive experience working with multilingual, immigrant, and refugee learners, along with interdisciplinary training across visual art, design, landscape architecture, and K–12 art education.

Talks can draw from my practice as a public artist and educator, exploring public art, creative process, community-engaged practice, identity, cultural memory, and the relationship between art, people, and place.

I develop educational and community engagement experiences that connect public art to the people and places it serves.

Programming may include youth public-art projects, community workshops, collaborative artmaking, storytelling, place-based learning, public-art curriculum, and educational programming connected to murals and public spaces.

CONSULTING + COLLABORATION

I work with schools, museums, arts organizations, nonprofits, and public-art programs on projects at the intersection of art, education, culture, community, and place.
